Pacman needs a diet

I started off on the picture with a back drop of pacman. I took a pictuer of a cheeseburger and put them in for all the plelets that pacman eats. I then replaced the big pelets that pacman eats with an ice cream cone. I then erased the blue lines around pacman and mad pacman fat. I then made the lines go around him as if her were bending them around his body.

ok. i uploaded it right this time.

Skeletor

I took a picture of skeletor and seletcted his arm and mouth with the cut tool then used the perspective tool to change its position from frame to frame.

E=MC^2 part 2

I finally got the Einstein picture to upload properly and show up on the blog. What I did in this picture what i selected the arm with the free select tool then used the rotate tool to rotate it. I then used the clone tool in order to fill in the blank area around his arm. I used the clone tool in order to add the smoke coming from his tobacco pipe. I made new layers and used the colorize in Gimp in order to give him the different colors and i used the desaturate tool in order to make him look either real or cartoonish.

I took 2 pictures of our varsity basketball team in our pre game huddle. I just used the layering effect and then went to filters, animation and then optimize for gif. That take a few seconds to do then you got back to filters and animate and press play and you can watch it. It was pretty simple and only took me a few minutes.

This is a picture that was take during the last semi-formal dance at baps of my girlfriend and myself. In the original picture we had horrible red eye. I took the red eye away by using the Ellipse tool and i selected the eyes in the picture. I then used the colorize option to change the color back to what our eyes auctually are. I then used the healing tool to eliminate the blemishes on both of us.

~SQUEE~!

Thia is a test pf one pf my favourtie characters I've created. It's named SQUEE! Ain't it cute? I love it! I mainly followed directions from Mr. Champney to do this. I'm going to try to do a more complex one, but this one was my test one. ^_^

Clash of the Titans

I did this by using the scissor tool to cut out all of my characters. I made it so Fox McCloud is shooting at Petter Griffin and Patrick Star. I also added two banshees from Halo 3. I then used the scissor tool again to make my background which is a Mario background. Just in case you have not played Mario, Petter and Patrick are running to the flag to win the "game", while Fox and the Banshees are trying to distroy thiem.

Me and Nick getting just about to go sailing.

This is me and nick. The first thing I did was cut me and nicks' heads out of a picture of the two of us then found two bodies to go with the heads. Then I found the other pictures like the beach, net, and sail boat and used the scissors to cut out the backgrounds of the original pictures and then I put them all together to get this.

Why you should wrestle

To make this I took a picture off Google and pasted my face onto it. I had to fill in the background because this guy's head was bigger that mine. To make my face this type of red I used the Hue Saturation editor under the Colors tab.

When Games Meet

I took characters of of multiple games to create a weird showdown. The characters are Ryu (big guy in white) from Street Fighter, Star Fox (the one with the gun) from the Star Fox series, Kirby (pink round thing) from the Kirby series, Sub Zero (blue guy) from the the Mortal Kombat games, and lastly Mario (small red plumber) from the Mario games. All I did was find a 2d image of each character and use the scisors to cut them from their picture. Then I put them on the Mario background.

Matt D. as a somalian

In this photo I took a pic of matt deschesne and put his face over the face of a somalian hip-hop artist. however matt isn't african so I had to mess around with the color balance, hue, and saturation of the colors on the layer for his face in order to create this.

I found this picture i decided to put Kyle's face on top of the other guy's face. I used the foreground select tool to cut Kyle's face out, and then I copy and pasted it on to the other layer. I used the scale and rotate tool in order to make his face the right size and angle. And finally i used the smudge tool to blend his neck in with the original guy's neck color.

Breaking Benjamin

This is a picture i did of my favorite band Breaking Benjamin. I started off with a picture of the people in the band. I then took the album art from their three albums and put them in the picture. For the one in the background i created a new layer and placed the picture over them. I then erased the picture away to expose their bodies. I then cut out and put on the other pieces of album art.

More Freckles and eye color changes

In this picture I also removed all of their freckles. I also removed some of the hair from the girl in the middle's face by using the bandaid tool and putting skin over the strands of hair. I also changed her eye color from a greenish color to more of a bluish hue. I used the colorize tool for this by using an ellipse to shape her eyes and then right clicking to get color and clicking colorize. This time I remembered the numbers that went with the colors so that both eyes have the same exact tint. I made all of their teeth a little whiter by using the airbrush paintbrush and changing the opacity to a lower setting. If you look closely you can also see a freckle on the girl of the way to the right (her neck) which I also removed by using te bandaid tool.

I got inspiration for this picture after seeing Aaron dressed as a girl a few days ago. In order to make his face fit into the picture i scaled it and adjusted the colors to better match his skin tone to that of the girls. I then copied the girls hair and pasted it over his face to make it more realistic.

Jack the Revolutionary

Yes, I happen to have some pictures of the dog on my hard drive at work...so here's another where I tried to create the iconic Che Guevara type image that you see on t-shirts and posters using Jack, the Springer instead of Che. For this one I played with a few editing tools: 1. mask 2. colorize 3. threshold and 4. layer types (in this case multiply).

The mask tool in particular is really handy for creating an area to fill in with the bucket tool. You can check out a great tutorial for this method here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yupmgRJqwTc

My uncle lived his life long dream and finally hiked Mt. Katahdin with my family in the last fall. His 60th birthday is this spring so I made a picture that shows his accomplishment. I cropped a picture of my family at the top of Mt. Katahdin using the scissors tool. Then I just pasted it on top of a picture of the Mountain. It was kinda of challenging using the picture I did because my uncle was kneeling in some rocks so his leg looks a little chopped up.

Party with Obama

what i did here was copied three different pictures using the free select tool, and the rectangle select tool to crop the background so it would all fit. after i got them all together i put a green glow around them to make it look like we were all at a laser show. I also cut off the top of Adams head so i had to draw it back in using the paintbrush tool. to get the same color as the rest of his hair i used the color picker tool so it would look real.
