Another attempt at a Bob Ross "original". I used the "How to Paint like Bob Ross" link on bapstmoodle as a model and for some instructions. On this one I used the calligraphy brush setting for the paintbrush a lot more than I had previously, it was particularly useful for creating the cascading snow on the peaks. To create depth/shadow I used a slightly darker shade of "white" on the left hand side of the ridges. Getting better at the mountains, but still haven't quite figured out how to create branches and foliage like Bob did with his fan brush. This took me about 2 hours to create...getting better....

  2. Traditionally, art has been for the select few. We have been brainwashed to believe that Michaelangelo had to pat you on the head at birth. Well, we show people that anybody can paint a picture that they're proud of. It may never hang in the Smithsonian, but it will certainly be something that they'll hang in their home and be proud of. And that's what it's all about. (bob)
