These twopainting were focused on 2 different landscapes. The one with comet is an auctual picture of the comet Hale-Bopp over Lake Mono. I was inspired by it from a project i did in astronomy class last semester. To make the ripples in the water i used the galaxy paintbrush and achieved the desired effect through pretty evenly distributing it throughout the paining.

The Arctic landscape was a picture i came across on google images. You can tell the individual icicles in the cave that are dripping down. I got them from using the circle fuzzy tool. I make the rays of the sun using the same tool but i made them fade out as i went. The sky in the background was created by using different shades of blue that i attempted to blend in to each other using the smudge tool.

Really nice shades of winter/arctic-blue in the middle image. Make sure you give heading and some text along with your posts. Nice work!
