I started with the blue background then added the water and sand. To get detail in the sand i added grey and smudged it in. I did the same with the water but with white. I then smudged the sand and water together. For the clouds I used the galaxy (AP) tool then added white paint and smudged them together.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Rob. The water color really captures the turquoise-clarity of the Caribbean. The sand really has nice texture/depth too. Somehow I see this as being a dry island like Aruba. February in Maine makes this all that much more appealing.
