SnoWWWWWW

In this work of art i used the color select tool to find a bunch of shades of the sky. then i layered them one on top of each other and blended them together to get a nice darkening sky. Then i made 3 different individual trees and copied them and shrunk them down to make them more realistic. I also used the color select tool to find the shades of the snow and shades of the riders clothing. I also made the rider in a different image and shrunk him down to make the colors blend better.

  1. This is so awesome. I'm jealous that your trees came out so good and that you also made a person. I cant do that at all. Good job. I like the spraying snow as well.

  2. This is really awesome Rob. Focusing on the figure in the painting separately from the background really paid off. You took on the difficult task of creating a person which none of the rest of us are brave enough to do. Nice work creating the individual trees, copying them and altering their size, it shows some efficiency with the tools and the medium. This really looks great. I think if you had pushed through just a little bit more with the figure it would have been even better. I know the tedium of working at such a level of detail can be daunting. Don't give up this is great work!

  4. Dude, I'm so JEALOUS... How exactly were you able to make the person? Experience or what? Either way, it's a fantastic job, and even the trees.... Wow. If you haven't taken art class yet, DO SO! ^_^
