For this one I looked at various photos for inspiration. I used the smudge tool a lot, especially to make the gradual colors of the ocean and the sky, I also used it to make the wave effect on the wave. The tree is a picture that I got off the internet and put on the cliff. I then used the blur tool on the tree to make it fit in better with the rest of my drawing.
I really like the tree Kyle, I draw a lot of pen and ink trees like that - it's basically the only thing I can draw. Nice use of an already existing image. Your sea has a nice subtle change in color too. Maybe another layer or two of cliffs would help give the image a little more depth?
ReplyDeleteThanks, I also forgot to say I used some sort of light tool to make it have a different tone, but I'm not sure what it was.
